Propeller Prices EFF. Dec. 4, 2001
Propellers shown below are general purpose low rake surface piercing modified design
propellers for vessels with speeds under 45 mph.. The crewboat propellers are heavier
built for commercial use. All of these propeller have been modified for use on surface
piercing drives.
Bronze: Good strength, Economical.
Tensile Strength: 65,000 psi
Stainless Steel: Better strength, Superior corrosion
resistance, easy reparability, used on commercial craft in river areas and shallow
waters. More expensive than Bronze or Nibral. Call for prices.
Tensile Strength: 70,000 psi
Nibral: Highest strength, Excellent resistance to bending and
flexing, Ideal for for installation involving high rpm or power. Particularly useful when
negotiating dangerous waters where debris or obstructions might be hit.
Tensile Strength: 95,000 psi

PROPELLER POLICY
Unfortunately, due to the nature of propellers, selecting the right propeller for
your boat on the first try doesn't always happen.
With all the variations in hull design, vessel weight, engine size & RPM, as well as
other factors beyond Fowler Marine Inc. control, first time selection can not be
guaranteed. Actual propeller selection may require in the water testing to achieve the
optimum propeller. Different brands and styles of propeller will give different speeds on
the same vessel.
Simplicity Marine Products, Inc. offers test propellers at a nominal fee of $100.00 per propeller loaned
for one week,
(NO EXCEPTIONS) plus a deposit equal to a new propeller is required. Deposits are refunded
or credited for a new propeller after the test propeller is returned prepaid by the user
undamaged. Damaged propellers will be reconditioned and the amount deducted from deposit.
TEST PROPELLERS ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY.
NO REFUNDS ON PROPELLERS, NO EXCEPTIONS
SPECIAL PROPELLERS ON REQUEST, PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE
